Please take notice a Special Meeting of the Eddy County Commission will take place at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 in the Commissioner’s Meeting Room in the basement of the Eddy County Courthouse.
The topics of this Special Meeting will be limited to:
1. Eddy County Treasurer’s December Property Tax Payouts
2. Discussion and Action on Compensation for Interim Deputy Auditor, Kristy O’Connor
3. Discussion, Review of Applications, and Action on Hiring Interim County Auditor
a. Discussion of Interim Auditor’s Wages, Duties, and Start Date
b. Offer of Employment
4. Discussion and Approval of Changing County Commission Meeting Times1
5. Appointment of Monty Schaefer to Eddy County Water Resource Board for Three Year Term2
6. Review and Approval of Pledge of Assets from Eddy County Treasurer3
7. Designation of Depositories for County Finances4
8. Request and Action for Change in Working Schedule/ Location for Julie Shrock, Veterans Service Officer
