When are meetings?

The regular meetings are quarterly in the months of January, April, July, and October. January, April, and October are usually scheduled for the fourth Tuesday of the month (may change if there is a scheduling conflict with Board members). The July meeting is earlier in order to meet budget deadlines (usually the Monday before the third Tuesday of July).

Where is the meeting location?

The regular Board meetings are held at the Ramsey County Courthouse/Armory. Special meetings and hearings may be at different locations depending on the County it affects and/or situation for which the special meeting or hearing was scheduled.

Is this a compensated position?

For a Board meeting, members receive $25 for attending the meeting plus their mileage. If there is a special meeting or a hearing, they receive $45 for the meeting plus their mileage. These are all processed through payroll and direct deposited into their account.

When does position start?

The first meeting for the new member will be the fourth Tuesday of October.
