Applicants Wanted for Zoning Commission

Eddy County is now accepting applications for the Eddy County Zoning Commission. One position is up for appointment with the term to expire next April. The Commission regularly meets on the second Tuesday of the first month of each quarter, with special meetings occurring occasionally.

The Zoning Commission is authorized under the Eddy County Zoning Ordinances (ECZO) to assist the County Commission in protecting the public health, safety, morals, comfort, convenience, prosperity, and general welfare of Eddy County. Members assist in reviewing the Ordinances, reviewing permits, and generally ensuring the provisions of adequate public services and promoting conservation of land, water and other natural resources. 

Applications are available on the Eddy County website and from the County Auditor. Please find the application either on the Departments tab under Commission or on the Boards tab under Zoning Commission. The application can also be found on the Downloads tab. Applications can be emailed to Schumacher.Becki@nd.gov or mailed to Becki Schumacher, 524 Central Ave New Rockford, ND 58356. Applications must be returned to Auditor by 4:00 P.M. on May 23^rd, 2025. Applications will be reviewed by the County Commission at its June meeting.
